Good afternoon! I hope everyone is enjoying summer break so far – there are some FUN activities scheduled around town this month for the family.
Michael’s – Ages 3 & Up – both events require a purchase

Sunday, August 26th 1:00 – 3:00 pm – Clay Pot Make It and Take It
Lowe’s – All events are recommended for ages 5 and up
Saturday, August 11th at 10:00 am and Sunday, August 12th at 2:00 pm – Shrek and Donkey are flying into Lowe’s this week! Bring your child to Lowe’s and they can build Shrek’s Dragon Ride!
Saturday, August 25th at 2:00 am and Sunday August 26th at 2:00 pm – Our DreamWorks Summer is coming to an end this week. Don’t miss the fun! You child will love this cool Onion Carriage featuring Shrek and Fiona!

Saturday, August 11th – 11:00 am – 3:00 pm – Kids can create a Garden Collage – kids will use craft materials to create a lush garden
Saturday, August 18th– 11:00 am – 3:00 pm – Kids can create their very own Crawly Caterpillar!
Saturday, August 25th – 11:00 am – 3:00 pm – Create your own personalized bookmark – perfect to start the school year 
Saturday, September 1, 2012 – 9:00 am – 12:00 pm – They hasn’t announced the project yet – BUT they do have their event every 1st Saturday of the month
Now, remember one of the biggest expenses that are incurred while we are “out and about” are eating expenses. So, if you are going to eat out – try to plan on eating out for lunch. Lunch menus are always cheaper than dinner menus.
Check out Restaurant.com before you leave the house – this is an easy way to save a bundle!
Pack snacks – you and the kids! I always have a Fiber One or Kashi Bar in my truck for me and a few goodies in my purse for the kiddos.
