Wordical – FUN Game By Educational Insights + Giveaway

Have you played Wordical yet? Well, it is a FUN game by my favorite company ever to get educational toys – Educational Insights.

What is Wordical? It is the radical dice-rolling, wrd-building race! Roll the vowel dice and combine the letters with the consonant cards in your hand – build the highest-scoring word and you win the round! For 2-8 players ages 8+.

Check out Wordical by Educational Insights

Steven is 8 and Sadie is 5 and they have played this several times and really like it! It took them both a few to understand that you build words without the vowels. It was a little hard for them to “see” words without vowels at first. What we did was took the vowel from the dice and placed that within the word that we were building. It really helped them get used to “seeing” the word. Now, Sadie is only 5, so I definitely helped her out, but her competitive spirit kicked in and she wanted to try on her own.

It was wonderful seeing the kids get excited about who could make words. The goal is to make a word that will earn the most points, but for the first couple rounds we just played who could make a word first.  Educational Insights really is about making learning FUN. And we all know that I like things that are FUN :)

In fact, I know you guys do too! So, how about a GIVEAWAY? That’s right! The wonderful folks over at Educational Insights have offered just that – this giveaway is open to all US and Canadian citizens.
