Target Cartwheel Coupons

My friend just let me know about a new way to save at Target, so I knew you guys would like to hear about it too.  The program called Cartwheel.

This is what I found on the website:

What is Cartwheel? Target Cartwheel is a whole new spin on saving at Target stores. Together with Facebook, Cartwheel lets you connect with friends to share your favorite deals plus save money on the products you love.

Do I need a Facebook account to join?  Yes, you need a Facebook profile in order to join Cartwheel. Facebook lets you connect and share offers with your friends, and it helps us give you a more personalized experience. If you currently don’t have a Facebook profile, you can create one at Facebook.com.

How can I control what is shared on Facebook?  When first signing in to Cartwheel, select who you’d like to share your Cartwheel activity with on Facebook (Public, Friends, Only Me, or a customized group you create). If you’ve already signed in to Cartwheel for the first time and would like to adjust your sharing settings, just go to your App Settings in Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications. Next to Cartwheel, select Edit. Then select the dropdown menu next to Posts On Your Behalf. Select your choice and hit Close.

How do I add an offer? You can add an offer to your Cartwheel anywhere an offer card appears! Find an offer you want in your Cartwheel activity feed, on a friend’s Cartwheel, or if you’re looking for something specific just search or browse our categories. Every offer card you see, you just click or tap to flip. Then select the add button. It’s that easy!

How can I manage my Cartwheel list? In the My Cartwheel section of the homepage, select “see all” to view your entire Cartwheel and remove or add deals. You can also remove or add deals anywhere across Cartwheel. If a deal is already on your Cartwheel, just flip the card and select “remove.”

How many offers can I have on my Cartwheel? You get 10 spots automatically just for joining Cartwheel. From there, you can earn additional spots by unlocking Cartwheel badges. How do you do that? Check out “my badges” to see which badges you’ve already unlocked, and read hints to help you unlock more.

How do I redeem the offers I find on Cartwheel? First, add your favorite offers to your Cartwheel. You’ll know when an offer is on your Cartwheel when a red check appears in the corner of the card. When you’re ready to purchase your items at a Target store, you can either print your Cartwheel barcode from your desktop at home, or you can use your mobile device in store to access your barcode using your mobile browser. When checking out, present your mobile phone or print barcode to the cashier just as you would any other coupon. The cashier will scan your barcode and you’ll automatically receive your savings on all of the Cartwheel offers on your list!

Where can I redeem my savings? Cartwheel offers are only valid in U.S. Target stores. Cartwheel is not available for redemption on Target.com or Target Canada at this time.

How it sounds to me is that these are kind of like Mobile coupons…But we can get the coupons from Facebook.  The great news is that you don’t need an internet capable phone to get these savings.

Currently, there’s 624 coupons available – WOW! make sure you check the collections tab to get a breakdown of coupons by category, and be sure to check details on each coupon.  I would pick carefully before heading to Target with your first batch, since you can only choose 10.

You can check out the Target Cartwheel Help Center for more answers. So, what do you guys think?

Thanks to Christie at Saving Said Simply for the heads up!
