Spicy Cheese Soup in the Crockpot

It’s Thursday….and with Football Season in full swing I thought we would all appreciate this recipe from Melanie, plus Velveeta and Hunts Tomatoes are on sale this week at Publix.
You could cook it over night and take with you in the morning to a Football party. Check it out, this is what you will need.

Easy for Tailgate Parties or just for a simple dinner..
Ingredients
  • 1 pound processed cheese, cubed
  • 1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained (optional)
  • 8¾ ounces whole kernel corn, undrained
  • 15 ounces kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced (optional)
  • 14½ ounces diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
  • 14½ ounces stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
Instructions
  1. Combine cheese, beef, corn, beans, jalapeño if using, tomatoes, and taco seasoning in Crock-Pot.
  2. Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours or on High for 3 hours.
  3. Serve with corn chips, if desired.
