Veterans Day is next week and it’s a day where we all celebrate the amazing men and women that serve/served our country. It is a day to honor those that give us the freedom that we all value. I am proud to be an American and I am thankful for the amazing people that let that be possible!

I wanted to share some freebies and deals for our active and retired Military heroes. I know there are a BUNCH, so please feel free to leave your finds in the comments and I will get them added.

*All locations need proof of ID and I strongly recommend calling ahead to make sure your location is participating

Restaurant Deals:

  • Einstein Bros Bagels — Free bagel at participating locations – must have coupon – sign up here
  • Tim Horton’s – FREE Donut
  • Krispy Kreme – FREE Donut and a coffee
  • Chick-fil-A — The offer in the past has been – FREE meal to all veterans and those currently serving.
  • BJs Restaurant and Brewery — FREE meal up to $12.95
  • Starbucks — The offer in the past has been – FREE tall coffee for active duty, veterans and their spouses at participating stores.
  • IHOP – FREE order of Red, White, and Blue pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on November 11.
  • Outback Steakhouse – This Veterans Day, Outback Steakhouse is again honoring all active and retired military members with a free Bloomin’ Onion and a Beverage* by showing a valid military ID at participating restaurants on Nov. 11. To show continued support for our troops beyond Veterans Day, Outback is also offering all Military Mates, including active or retired military members and their families, 15% off their check from Nov. 12 – Dec. 31.* Plus, the Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill Challenge Coin can be purchased now through Dec. 31 at, and one hundred percent of proceeds from the sales go directly to Folds of Honor. As a token of appreciation for the donation, guests who present the Challenge Coin at participating Outback Steakhouse or Carrabba’s Italian Grill restaurants can redeem a free Coca-Cola product anytime in 2016.*

  • McCormick’s and Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants – FREE lunch or dinner on November 6th
  • Sizzler’s – FREE lunch till 4PM
  • Max & Erma’s – FREE 1/2 Cheeseburger with fries
  • California Pizza Kitchen – FREE lunch or dinner from the special Veterans Day Menu. Dine-in only
  • Applebee’s – FREE entree, beverage not included
  • Texas Roadhouse – FREE Lunch from a limited menu on November 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Golden Corral – FREE buffet and drink from 5-9 on Nov 14. Dine-in only.
  • Bonefish Grill – Free Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer on November 11th
  • Denny’s coupons – FREE Grand Slam Breakfast until noon

  • Free Entrance to National Parks (nationwide deal, see if your park is on the list)
  • Free admission to Knott’s Berry Farm

  • Free Admission to Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Florida – Members of the military (active-duty, retirees and veterans) and up to three direct dependents are invited to visit the Zoo for free

  • UFC GYM – Free 3-day full access pass for active duty military and veterans, as well as their families from Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 13.  Additionally, UFC GYM is offering a special Bootcamp themed class at no charge.
  • Jungle Island – active-duty, retired military and first-responders to receive free park admission from November 11-18, 2016. South Florida’s favorite landmark attraction also is extending a 50% discount on one-day passes for up to four accompanying family members.

  • Kohl’s – $10 off $25 Purchase + earn Kohl’s Cash use coupon code USA10 or print coupon – ends 11/11
  • Publix – Veterans and Military Personnel can receive 10% off their groceries on November 11th by showing their military ID
  • Walgreens 15% OFF Military Discount on name-brands, 20% OFF store brands
  • Big Lots – 10% OFF
  • Dollar General – 11% OFF
  • Family Dollar – 10% OFF
  • Home Depot — All active duty personnel, reservists, retired military, veterans and their families get a 10% discount off their purchases. The offer is valid on purchases of up to $2,000 for a maximum of $200.
  • Lowe’s — All active, reserve, honorably discharged, retired military personnel and their immediate family members a 10% discount on in-store purchases made during the Veterans Day holiday.
  • Scottsdale Bullion & Coin – will be honoring veterans and active military members by offering them an exclusive 1% discount on all purchases made between November 9 and November 11, 2016. Additionally, all throughout the month of November, SBC will show their appreciation to veterans by donating a portion of all profits to the American Service Animal Society (ASAS).

  1. It is so nice for companies and people to thank veterans for their sacrifices. If Daddy was still alive, he would have went to Krispy Kreme no matter what. He was always there for doughnuts and coffee. I don’t think they ever did it free though. He’d get his hair cut and go to Walgreens and pick one of these restaurants for supper. Wish they did this back then and wish I had known about it if they did. Thank you for sharing this for all the deserving veterans next yr. and beyond!
