Zaycon Foods is Coming! – HOT Deal on Chicken

I am so excited Zaycon Foods is coming back to Tampa – well, and all over Florida!  You can get FRESH chicken for just $1.69/lb!! I don’t know about you guys but I honestly can’t remember the last time I have seen boneless skinless chicken breast for $1.69/lb!!  I actually just placed my order – 2 friends are splitting the order with me and we each spent just over $20 – the quality, freshness, and price just can’t be beat!

How do you get it? It is a pretty simple process:

  • You sign up at Zaycon Foods here
  • They will email you when an event is coming to your area
  • You place your order and then pick it up on your day!

So what will you get? The chicken comes in a big box that contains 4 large bags with 10 pounds of boneless skinless chicken per bag. You then divide the chicken however you like or go in with a friend and share it!  They have location pick ups all over Tampa Bay and they are selling out quick – so hurry and check them out!

Here is their business model:

We combine the buying power of many families together, enabling us to negotiate huge savings on food purchases for your family

We bring products direct from the farm / processor (or as nearly as direct as possible). The products are as fresh as if you had your own farm, but without all the chores

We sell food products only by the case. No extra costs for handling. And no more empty shelves in your pantry

We sell only what we eat ourselves—high quality, healthy food. Our focus is on a select number of commonly consumed food items such as fresh meats like chicken, beef, turkey, pork and fish

Our unique sales event approach turns traditional food purchasing on its ear. Convenient, quick, organized—about 2 minutes and you never even need to get out of your car.

I recently posted 10 Crock pot recipes – you can view Part 1 here and Part 2 here – each set involves prepping 5 meals in just 1 hour. You then take for prepped meals and put them in the freezer until you are ready to cook them 🙂 Well, Over half of the recipes call for chicken – It was wonderful to be able to just head out to my deep freezer and grab the chicken needed for the meals. No extra expenses at the grocery store is always a wonderful thing!
